Weather. Hmph.

Well, folks, it’s raining. The weatherman calls for rain until at least noon tomorrow, so here’s what I propose. If you’re still up for it, I suggest we meet at Bellacino’s at noon for lunch/meeting so we can get to know each other and talk about future field trips. Then, if the weather clears up by the time were done, we head over to the gardens around 1:30. I hope everyone can still come. I’d like to at least meet you all even if we don’t get to go to the gardens. See you tomorrow!

Everything You Need to Know

Are you ready to take some pictures? I am! Here is everything you need to know:

• At 9:30, we will meet outside the Riverbanks Botanical Gardens entrance in West Columbia. The address is 1300 Botanical Parkway. If coming from East Lake, take I-26 towards Charleston. Take the Hwy 378 exit toward downtown. About a mile or so down the road on the left you will see the large Riverbanks sign.
• The entrance fee is $9.75. (If the fee is an issue with anyone, let me know. We can work it out.)
• After the gardens we will meet at Bellacino’s on Lake Murray Blvd. at 11:30 for lunch. Go back toward’s East Lake on I-26. Take the 2nd Lake Murray Blvd Exit towards Irmo. Bellacino’s is about ½ mile down on the left. We will eat lunch and discuss future plans with the club. We will have a laptop with us, so if you wish to share your photos, make sure you bring your camera’s cable. Also, if you have a favorite photo or two from our morning excursion, email it to me, and I’ll put it on our blog!
• Don’t forget your camera!!!!
• Can you believe we have over 20 people interested in our group? That’s awesome! So far, I’m expecting approx. 10 people this Saturday. If you haven’t already done so, please RSVP if you plan on coming.

Field Trip!

Our first meet will be on Saturday, November 15th at the Riverbanks Botanical Gardens. We will meet at the Garden Entrance off Hwy 378 at 9:30am. The entrance fee is $9.75.

If you are interested in our little club, leave a comment with your email address so we can get you on our list. If you can't come this month, that's OK. We understand that the holiday season is beginning. But, don't forget about us! Come next time!
